The itinerary below is an example of how a mid-sized team trip might run. It can be expanded to six or seven days, converted to Jammu pickup and drop, or tailored for a family-inclusive trip.
Planning notes for organisers
- Share the headcount, ages and special needs early.
- Fix the dates as soon as possible, since good properties fill up months ahead in peak season.
- Agree who pays for optional costs like gondola tickets or adventure activities.
- Keep a buffer day for weather and travel delays.

Most problems on group trips are small and avoidable. Share one master contact for the organiser, confirm rooming lists a week before departure, brief participants on clothing and ID, and decide in advance how much free time the group wants. A programme that tries to fit sightseeing, a workshop and an activity into every day usually leaves people tired and unhappy; leaving one flexible afternoon makes the whole trip feel better. Ask about vehicle size on mountain roads early, because coaches cannot reach every destination and a mix of smaller vehicles is sometimes needed.
