Getting around
Dabolim Airport is closer to South Goa than to the northern beaches, typically 25–35 km depending on the resort. Distances between southern beaches are longer than in the north, so a car for the duration of the stay is usually more practical than hiring a scooter.
When to visit
The seasons match the rest of the state: November to February for reliable dry weather, March to May for heat and low crowds, and the monsoon months for greenery with most beach infrastructure closed.
