How to choose an Uttarakhand package
Start with three questions: how many days do you have, which places appeal and what do you want to do? Three to four days suits Rishikesh and Haridwar, or Corbett and Nainital. Five to six days adds Mussoorie. Seven or more days lets you combine regions or take on a pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Next, think about the season. March to June and September to November are the most comfortable months for most trips. December to February is cold and clear, and suits Corbett. July and August are the monsoon, when landslides and road closures make planning harder, and we advise flexibility or lower destinations.
What to compare between packages
- The number of bases. Fewer hotel changes mean more rest and less risk of delays.
- Drive times. Check the longest day, and whether it is broken by stops.
- Hotel location. In Mussoorie and Nainital, a hotel on the main Mall is convenient but noisy.
- Activities. Rafting, safaris, helicopters and entry tickets are often paid separately.
- Rules. Char Dham registration, Corbett zone bookings and rafting seasons affect what is possible.
- Buffers. Check whether the plan keeps a spare day for rain and landslides.

What we will ask you
To prepare a useful quote we need your travel dates, the number of adults and children with ages, your starting city, preferred hotel category and rough budget. We will also ask about interests, such as yoga, rafting, wildlife or pilgrimage, and anything that limits the plan, such as mobility, altitude concerns or motion sickness. None of this is a commitment.
If none of the packages fits, send us your plan and we will draft one.

Helpful answers
Frequently Asked Questions

How many days do I need for Uttarakhand?
Five to seven days covers Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie comfortably. Add two days for Nainital and Corbett. A Kedarnath and Badrinath journey needs seven to nine days because the roads are slow and weather can force changes. Trying to cover Garhwal and Kumaon in four days leaves you in the car.
Is registration mandatory for the Char Dham Yatra?
Yes. Pilgrims have been required to register on the Uttarakhand government's portal before travelling to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, and helicopter bookings need completed registration. Fees, slots and rules change from year to year, so we confirm them close to your dates and help with the paperwork.
What is the best time to visit Uttarakhand?
March to June and September to November are the most comfortable months for most trips. Spring and early summer suit the hill stations and the Char Dham season, while autumn brings clear Himalayan views. July and August are monsoon months with landslide risk, though the Valley of Flowers blooms then. Winter is cold, with snow at Mussoorie and Auli, and is the best time for Corbett.
Is it safe to visit Uttarakhand in the monsoon?
It can be done, but it carries real risk. Heavy rain in July and August causes landslides and road closures, especially on the routes to Kedarnath, Badrinath and the Kumaon hills. If you must travel then, choose lower destinations such as Rishikesh and Dehradun, keep dates flexible and follow weather and district alerts.
