Uttarakhand is one of the most practical corporate destinations in north India. It is close to Delhi, has good road access and offers riverside resorts, forest retreats and adventure activities. A Rishikesh offsite or a Corbett incentive can be arranged without flights, which keeps logistics manageable.
What a corporate plan covers
- A venue, such as a riverside resort in Rishikesh or a resort near Corbett, with rooms, dining and, where possible, a meeting space.
- Transport. Coaches or tempo travellers from Delhi or Dehradun airport, sized to the group.
- A programme. Sessions, team activities such as rafting or a jungle safari, a cultural evening and free time.
- Coordination. One point of contact for the organiser.
- Clear costs. Inclusions, exclusions and optional extras listed before approval.
Practical constraints
Peak weekends are crowded, so we recommend midweek events. Meeting facilities in the hills vary in quality, and a visit beforehand helps. The monsoon brings landslide risk, so July and August events need flexible dates. Rafting and adventure activities are seasonal and weather-dependent, and we plan a contingency.
Choosing the format
Groups of 15 to 50 fit well in Rishikesh resorts. Larger groups may need two properties. Incentive trips often emphasise experiences, such as a safari, a river camp or a Ganga aarti, rather than formal sessions.
Planning notes
Book dates three to four months ahead for peak periods. Confirm IDs and any dietary needs. Brief participants on safety, dress and alcohol policy. Agree rules for water activities.
Where to begin
See the Rishikesh corporate offsite for a sample structure. Share your group's size and goals and we will draft a programme.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days do I need for Uttarakhand?
Five to seven days covers Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie comfortably. Add two days for Nainital and Corbett. A Kedarnath and Badrinath journey needs seven to nine days because the roads are slow and weather can force changes. Trying to cover Garhwal and Kumaon in four days leaves you in the car.
When is river rafting open in Rishikesh?
Rafting generally runs from about September to June, and is suspended in the monsoon when the Ganga is high. The exact opening and closing dates are decided each year by the authorities, who also set safety rules. Rafting is not a certainty on any given day, so we keep a backup plan.
Is it safe to visit Uttarakhand in the monsoon?
It can be done, but it carries real risk. Heavy rain in July and August causes landslides and road closures, especially on the routes to Kedarnath, Badrinath and the Kumaon hills. If you must travel then, choose lower destinations such as Rishikesh and Dehradun, keep dates flexible and follow weather and district alerts.
