Group trips need structure, or they dissolve into arguments about where to eat and who rides with whom. This plan gives your group a base, a vehicle and a few anchor activities, and leaves the rest open. It is designed for friends, cousins and larger families who want to stay together.
Who it suits
Groups of six to fifteen people travelling together, including friends, cousins, college groups and extended families. It also works for celebration trips, such as birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette weekends, with a sensible approach to safety.
How the days flow
Day 1 is arrival and a group dinner. Day 2 starts with a water sports session in the morning and ends with sunset at Chapora Fort in the evening. Day 3 offers a choice: Old Goa and Panaji for heritage, a market morning or a beach day. Day 4 is departure.
The balance of a group trip
The most successful group trips mix shared moments with space. A shared dinner on the first night, a water sports morning, and a group sunset create the memories. Free time lets people follow their own interests. Planning one anchor activity each day and leaving the rest open is usually the best approach.
Group logistics
- Rooming. Hotels or villas arranged so that the group stays together.
- Vehicles. A tempo traveller or multiple cars with drivers for transfers and sightseeing.
- Timings. We build in buffer for groups, which are slower than individuals.
- Dining. A group dinner on the first night, with other meals open.
Safety notes for groups
Scooters are the biggest risk, especially at night. We recommend a cab with driver for evenings and a clear plan for getting back. Choose licensed clubs with good exits, avoid overcrowded venues and look after friends who have been drinking. Water sports should use registered operators and life jackets.
When to choose a different plan
If your group includes young children or elders, a quieter resort in South Goa is a better base than Baga or Vagator. If your main aim is a celebration, tell us early, so we can suggest a venue and manage noise and safety. If you want a very cheap trip, hostels and shared villas help, but check location and safety first.
Customising
Switch to a villa, add a night, include Dudhsagar or choose South Goa for a calmer group. Share your group size and dates and we will price it.
