Andaman Group Tour Packages

Andaman trips for friends and extended families, with diving and snorkelling days, group ferries and clear safety planning.

Need a different route or pace?

Tell us your travel dates, group size, starting point, preferred stay category and budget range. We will use those details to prepare a more relevant Andaman & Nicobar plan.

Groups love the Andamans for the shared experiences: a first dive, a day on a boat, a sunset on a beach. But group trips need more planning. Ferry seats are limited, resort rooms need to be blocked early, and safety on the water matters more with a crowd.

What changes for a group

  • Ferry tickets. Groups often need to be split across sailings or booked early. We reserve seats as soon as dates are confirmed.
  • Rooming. Twin, triple and family rooms arranged in advance, with the group kept together where possible.
  • Vehicles. Taxis or small vehicles at each island; large coaches are not practical on narrow roads.
  • Water activities. Group bookings for snorkelling, glass-bottom boats and introductory dives with certified operators.
  • Costs. Groups benefit from shared transfers and sometimes better resort rates, though ferries are priced per person.
  • Friends' trip. Port Blair, Havelock and a day on the water, in five or six days.
  • Dive trip. A longer stay in Havelock, with several dive days.
  • Extended family. The classic route with a relaxed pace.
  • Celebration trip. A resort buyout or a beach dinner for a birthday or anniversary.

Tips for group leaders

Confirm headcount and IDs early. Set clear rules about alcohol, noise and swimming. Agree on who handles ferry tickets and payments. Keep spare time in the schedule for weather, and brief everyone on reef etiquette and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can beginners try scuba diving in the Andamans?

Yes. Introductory dives need no certification, only basic fitness, a medical declaration and a short briefing. Choose a certified, insured operator with trained instructors. Do not fly within 18 to 24 hours of diving, and tell the instructor about any health conditions, including colds and asthma.

How do ferries between the islands work?

Private high-speed ferries and government ferries link Port Blair, Havelock and Neil, with crossings of roughly one to two and a half hours. Tickets are booked in advance, schedules change with the season and weather, and sailings are cancelled in rough seas. We suggest a buffer of at least half a day before any flight home.

Is alcohol available in the Andamans?

Licensed bars and shops operate in Port Blair and Havelock, with dry days and licensing restrictions. Public drinking is not allowed. Do not drink before diving, snorkelling or ferry travel.
